The event serves the visitors with about 100 experiences.
The event Pop-up Ostrobothnia arrives in Helsinki on June 11th–13th. It will certainly be a different kind of feast: The Senate Square will become a small village of shipping containers to reflect the importance of export in the region of Ostrobothnia.
During three days the diverse programme will allow the visitors to choose their own personal favourites among different kinds of music, film festival, street art, Ostrobothnian food, time travel, science, design, business events and genuine Ostrobothnian community singing! The Senate Square is the main scene of the event; however a lot is to be seen also at other locations.
All in all there are about 100 different acts to be seen during the event. If you choose to visit only one every day, you should listen to the extremely rare combination of music by Bothnia Rhythm Orchestra and Thoby Loth on Thursday, sing along with Annika Eklund and Fredrik Furu and all the surprise acts during the community singing on Friday and dance your heart out to Krista Siegfrid’s music on Saturday.
Pop-up Ostrobothnia is arranged by the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia and the City of Helsinki. The event is produced by Pohjanmaan Expo Oy.
