The Regional Council of Ostrobothnia has together with the City of Helsinki combined the best bits of the west coast to an unmatched bundle of experiences that will unfold in central Helsinki on 11 – 13 June 2015. The goal is to team up and show which possibilities and success stories the Vaasa-, Pietarsaari-, Suupohja and Kyrönmaa regions have to offer.
The heart of the event will be beating on Senaatintori in Helsinki. Visitors can look forward to Ostrobothnian cuisine, culture, design and travel inspiration. The region’s forceful enterprises and education network will also engage in some show business (pun intended) in order to share success stories from the west coast. This is a perfect opportunity to experience the best bits of Ostrobothnia in an effective yet memorable manner.
As the name implies, Pop-Up Pohjanmaa is inspired by storybooks that come alive in the hands of their reader. The interactive event aims to do the same – visitors are encourage to see, hear, smell, feel and taste what Ostrobothnia is all about. Against the backdrop of Helsinki mini-Ostrobothnia is like a colourful chapter in a beautiful fairy tale telling the story of life in the happiest region of Finland.
